Wash Away

So today's my 24th birthday and I thought I'd kick it off with a painting that's been floating around in my brain for maybe a week. My approach to it was inspired by the grayscale painting technique I was watching my pal Jade use a lot when I worked in the lab (although I kind of cheated in that I blocked out a hairless and scale-less bust of the dragon in ZBrush first and worked from that instead of just pure Photoshop). I may or may not actually color this later, but I think it holds up quite well this way.
